Psalms  ·  Chapter 127  ·  Verse 1

Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.

እስከ ለኣልቦ ያብንዮ እግዚአብሔር ቤተ በከንቱ ይደክሙ እለ ያብንይዎ። ወእስከ ለኣልቦ ይዐቅባ እግዚአብሔር ሀገረ በከንቱ ይተጋ ዐቃቢ።

እግዚአብሔር ቤትን ካልሠራ፥ ሠራተኞች በከንቱ ይደክማሉ፤ እግዚአብሔር ከተማን ካልጠበቀ፥ ጠባቂ በከንቱ ይተጋል።
